Cut and Sew Development Coordinator

In 1997, the kc parker brand was introduced ~ a collection of updated coordinating separates, sizes 4 – 16.Positions Major Responsibilities:1.Manage the development, costing, and sample process for all products produced overseas.
2.Manage the daily communication with overseas factories.
3.Track new fabric sourcing and approval status of lab dips, proto samples, embroidery submits.4.Review/record past season cost history prior to receiving prices. Review and establish target prices to present at costing meetings.
5.Negotiate all prices to meet our company margin goals.
6.Manage the sample process by issuing sample purchase orders, tracking photo samples and sales samples from ship date, receipt and through design approval.
REQUIREMENTS
Position Qualifications/Physical Requirements:1.Bachelor’s degree in Apparel or related field preferred.
2.5 years related experience.
3.Must have excellent communication/negotiation skills.
4.Good computer skills (Web PDM a plus).
5.Knowledge of garment construction.
