Corporate Relations Officer (CB-CORPOFF)

Phoenix Art Museum is seeking an experienced Corporate Relations Officer to manage and expand the Museum’s corporate support program.
Duties include:1.Research and identify sources of corporate funding.
2.Research grant proposal requirements and submittal deadlines, develop and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate sponsors, and maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reports.
3.Meet with Museum staff to determine project and departmental goals and objectives, scope, feasibility, and funding needs for programs, projects and operations; maintain current files on present and future programs and projects.
4.Write, edit and submit applications, proposals and reports to sources of corporate funding.
5.Prepare, assemble and coordinate delivery of proposal documents.
6.Track status of proposals, follow up to provide additional information as required by funding sources, and file all financial and narrative reports as necessary.
7.Recommend goals for corporate contributions to the annual operating fund and project sponsorships; monitor income status reports related to analysis of programs toward annual goals and project funding needs.8.Plan and coordinate events for corporate partners.TThis is a full-time position and includes: health and dental insurance; life insurance; LTD coverage; a Museum-funded pension plan; vacation, holiday and sick pay; Museum membership; and great discounts at Museum Store, Café, and other cultural organizations in the Valley.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, business or related field.
2.Minimum of five years experience fundraising for a non-profit organization or similar experience in for-profit environment.
3.Strong leadership, interpersonal, planning, organization, written and oral communication skills.
4.High level of problem solving skills and diplomacy.
5.Experience in Raisers’ Edge or other automated fundraising software desirable.
6.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including adept use of email and the Internet.
7.Ability to organize and accomplish multiple projects concurrently.
8.Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of Museum supports, visitors, members, volunteers and staff.Please submit resume, cover letter and salary requirements to job code CB-CORPOFF.
