Corporate (Fundraising) Events Director, Irvine
We are seeking a dynamic individual who will organize, direct and will be responsible for implementing the " Celebrate with Heart Gala" and " Go Red for Women luncheon" fundraising events. Individual will recruit, manage and mobilize volunteers and corporate leaders. Will secure corporate cash sponsors, in-kind donations, auctions items, conduct research, staff corporate committee and implement cultivation strategies in order to reach fundraising goal of $400,000 for the Gala and $400,000 for GRFW.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years significant special event fund raising, or successful sales experience, demonstrated knowledge of fund raising and proven success in recruitment, partnership-building and negotiation skills. Excellent customer service, written and oral communications skills are also a must.
Ability to recruit, train, counsel, and manage volunteer groups to develop long range organizational goals and follow through with them.
Knowledge of management, administration, sales, marketing, and community organization principles, practices, and techniques.
Skilled in making oral presentations to large and small audiences and writing clear and concise statistical reports, evaluations and narrative pieces.
