Corporate Development Manager
The Manager will work in a fast-paced environment to support the organization’s corporate development objectives with a focus on executing complex commercial transactions. The Manager will work closely with the senior corporate development team to complete merger and acquisitions and other corporate development projects. Corporate development projects will include developing new markets and new customers, supporting new product development with Research & Development and in-licensing of technology. In addition, a responsibility of this position will be in developing and evaluating candidates for acquisition, performing valuation and due diligence work and coordinating transactions with internal and external resources. An important aspect of the position is regular interaction and close collaboration with the corporate development team and other departments (Research and Development, Scientific Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Product Development, Quality, Intellectual Property, Public Relations, Manufacturing). This position will also have regular interaction with potential customers, development partners and acquisition candidates.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Participate in all aspects of commercial transactions from identification through negotiation and execution.
2. Provide, coordinate, and manage inter-departmental input on license and supply, development and/or acquisition agreements.
3. Produce, edit and oversee the completion of corporate development presentations.
4. Prepare presentations and communicate internally on corporate development priorities and goals to senior management.
5. Work in a fast-paced environment and concurrently manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree required with 4-5 years experience or Master’s with 3-6 years experience in a financial analyst position dealing with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, transactions, and in-licensing.
2. Previous project management experience required.
3. Excellent oral and written communication required.
4. Proficient computer skills required.
