SUMMARY/GOAL OF THE POSITION
PARTICIPATES ON TEAMS IMPLEMENTING CORPORATE SOLUTIONS PROJECT GOALS AND OTHER PROCESS SOLUTIONS IDENTIFIED DURING CONTINUAL CYCLE OF PROCESS EVALUATION, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY (LIST THE MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY WITH SUPPORTING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES IN ORDER OF PRIORITY)I. Maintain Sub-Process & Task Documentation
Use and refine standards and tools for business process workflow and documentation.
Maintain documentation for business processes and plan designs of all major products or services delivered by Corporate Solutions.
Analyze existing processes to identify potential areas where problems could occur - research and implement prevention steps.
Create and maintain application Help text for system users and training efforts. Effectively communication and develop relationships with Subject Matter Experts in all Corporate Solutions departments. Support progress toward and ultimate execution of Clark Consulting strategic goals.II. Implement Process Change and Project Solutions
Function as Project Manager on identified projects oversee planning, implementation and solution effectiveness in general terms of Return On Investment. Meet regularly with Business Process Manager to review work assignments and ensure all project deadlines are met.
Create and maintain scorecards for measures identified for department goals.
Forward complex issues involving insurance, benefits, accounting, actuarial, tax and legal issues to Business Process Manager and other appropriate personnel. Develop high-quality and timely training to end users. Develop end-user training materials.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree; significant work experience in a similar business environment may be considered in lieu of formal education.EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7 years experience working on large projects with 3 years of Project Management responsibility. Minimum of 5 years training experience. Minimum of 5 years of insurance and/or benefits operations experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in specialized field (product design, plan administration, business accounting, application support, process management, project management, etc.)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
(TECHNICAL SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS)
Advanced skills in Process Management (Process Mapping, Measurement, Problem Analysis, Controls and Cost/Benefit Analysis, Return on Investement).
Ability to manage demands of several large projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying root causes in need of systemic change.
Ability to monitor and manage Return on Investment for existing processes and implemented change initiatives. Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, with strong listening, writing and presentation skills, including ability to obtain optimal solutions. Ability to design and implement Corporate Solutions training initiatives as required. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook.
