Conference Producer - Medical Education

HealthScience Media Inc. is seeking Conference Producer to produce and create medical education congresses in a variety of therapeutic areas. The Conference Producer will be responsible for managing a series of conferences targeting physicians and allied health professionals. The Conference Producer must be able to identify market opportunities, manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with high level physicians, senior level managers at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and executives at premier medical centers.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include:Conceptualization and execution of medical conferences through:
Identification of the most relevant issues to the market
Recruitment of influential, well-recognized physician thought-leaders to assist in agenda developmentPartner with marketing and sales to develop conference attendee marketing plan and corporate sponsorship sales planCreate the conference agendas with assistance from key advisors recruitedManage costs and revenues for each conferenceIdentify market-driven, clinically-relevant topics for new medical conferencesOther requirements include a strong background and skill set in marketing and sales, along with the ability to determine marketability of products.
