Consulting Services Group (CSG) is a key business division dedicated to the development and implementation of advisory programs for Global Wealth Management Group. CSG's ongoing success is dependent on its ability to effectively communicate a broad range of issues and announcements to internal and external touch points. The Communications Manager role is critical to the development and implementation of a sound communications strategy to drive sales, retain assets and increase revenue.
Overview:
The CSG Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing the overall communications strategy for all of the division's product areas. Critical to the role is the manager's ability to drive all internal and external communications by leveraging all available resources. The candidate will write collateral as well as manager others to write articles, brochures and other communications.
Responsibilities:
Create broad and targeted product announcements, headlines, emails
Ensure all materials are current and meet all compliance and legal requirements
Manage due diligence output, including notices, announcements and manager reports (profiles, status, etc.)
Create and maintain
o Clear impactful website content
o Consulting content library, including 3rd party manager material, brochures, white papers, etc.
o Recruit materials and brochures
Coordinate with Marketing on the creation of client-facing collateral, including brochures, seminars, and prospecting letters
Create sales-related materials including one-on-one presentation books for all FA and client segments
Help to manage and coordinate product launch/enhancement campaignsSkills Required
Four-year college degree
8 years experience in investments/financial services, with at least 3 years in consulting/managed money
Strong writing and communication skills
Strong understanding of sales force/segments and how to make the most impact
Ability to handle high volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to assess current state, challenge convention, recommend new methods, and discontinue initiatives that do not work or are inefficient
Working knowledge of technology and vendors who can streamline delivery and provide specialized assistance
Recruit and develop talented staff
Experience and proven writing capabilities
Motivated, self-starter with ability to implement tactical initiatives
Strong project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Build teamwork among cross-functional groupsSkills Desired
