Commercial Lines Insurance Analyst

California Capital Insurance Company, an affiliate of Capital Insurance Group, has an excellent position in their Home Office Commercial Lines Department in Monterey. As a Commercial Lines Insurance Analyst, the ideal candidate will work in a customer service assignment and will be responsible for the testing of commercial lines rating and processing systems to ensure that the computer programs that the company uses in insurance rating and billing are in compliance with the company filings for rates and coverage forms. This highly detail oriented assignment is also responsible for verifying the accuracy of changes made to the company’s commercial lines rating and processing systems as well as providing assistance to all our employees who utilize the system, both in our home office and branch locations.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this position will work in a customer service environment with company personnel in Actuary, ITS, Underwriting and Operations. Solid organizational skills are required to manage your time and priorities. Effective reasoning skills are required to interpret and accurately perform moderate to complex assignments independently. This position also requires sound communications and listening skills to take instruction, present recommendations and convey information.

College degree and/or the equivalent of four years experience in the insurance industry or agency operations. Knowledge of underwriting which includes property and automobile rating and analysis is preferred. Solid PC skills and knowledgeable in the use of Word and Excel is essential.
