Client Services Coordinator

Client Services Coordinators gather and manage extensive client data including investment information and reports on portfolio composition and performance. They facilitate communication between 40 to 50 clients and financial planners on asset management and long-term planning.

PROFILE: We are a small, but growing, financial planning and investment advisory firm serving over 100 clients and advising them on over $100 million of investments. We also advise our clients in estate planning, retirement planning, tax planning, and clarifying and achieving their long-term goals. Our focus is on our clients’ success and our relationships with them.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Communicate comfortably and effectively in person, by phone, by email, or in writing.
2. Help clients open investment accounts and review and interpret investment statements.
3. Work with several in-house computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Proofread letters and reports.
5. Help to improve internal processes, but comply strictly with those in place.
6. Juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Further training or education helpful.2. Background in investments, banking or accounting required.3. Proficient in typing and keyboarding skills.
4. Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills (strong grammar, spelling & vocabulary skills).
6. Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.7. Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.8. Above average productivity and accuracy levels.9. Solid customer service skills.
10. Solid team member skills
11. Desire to help others.
12. Willing to ask for help and acknowledge mistakes.
