Client Service Assistant - InterAction

The Chicago office is seeking a Marketing Assistant who will provide general assistance for marketing-related initiatives, including but not limited to: Alumni Network Web site data entry; information gathering and organization relating to internal and external newsletters and publications; assistance with event logistics and pitch material preparation. Additional responsibilities include: assist with data entry and maintenance of InterAction (the Firm's contact relationship management database), conduct research and update returned mail and e-communication bouncebacks, monitor and coordinate data change management tickets, and perform ongoing and regular audits of company and contact records to ensure data integrity. This position will also provide administrative support in the areas of mailing list creation and maintenance, create organizational tools and processes to assist in the overall administration of InterAction and its use by attorneys, secretaries and the Marketing Department. REQUIREMENTS


The successful candidate must work effectively as part of the overall Marketing team and must be organized with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. In addition, the candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have a very strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have outstanding data entry and proofing skills. The position requires a solid command of different technology applications to produce a high-end and professional work product, including InterAction or Access (or other relational databases), Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. A four-year degree or the equivalent is required. Law firm experience is a plus. Prior database entry or CRM experience in a law firm or other professional service organization is preferred. A minimum typing speed of 45+ WMP is required.
