The Client Development Manager will report to the Country Leader- US who in turn reports to the President- North America. He/she will identify, qualify and close on human capital services revenue opportunities. While it will be important to manage the support delivery capabilities, the key aspect of this role will be to identify and drive sales. The focus will be in the assigned region, but it is expected that this individual will have frequent involvement with global clients and engagements Implementing strategy towards attaining goals for assigned region, working closely and in alignment with the Managing Director and in accordance with the overall vision for the company. Responsible for revenue goals for Futurestep within the assigned region. Leveraging existing contact base to identify business development opportunities. Developing relationships with Korn/Ferry executives, to build mutual rewarding business and drive Futurestep solutions for such clients. Contributing profitable revenues via sales of human capital solutions; taking profit responsibility for client projects and accounts. Working with the Managing Director to ensure appropriate participation in all sales opportunities. Leading or participating in bid activity from both an external and internal perspective. Responsible for development of horizontal and vertical sales strategies with existing customers.WORK EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of identifying, qualifying and selling substantial human capital solutions to prospective client companies. He or she will have a combination of the following experience and characteristics: Demonstrable success in identifying, developing and closing human capital solutions and services projects for industry leading clients Evidence of having built strong and sustained client relationships at all levels within the client organization. An ability to understand customer requirements and to shape compelling human capital solutions. A record of shaping service offerings which have had market success. Strong understanding and appreciation of project skills and disciplines, and clear ability to bring others to high standards in those disciplines. Evident success in simultaneous management of multiple sales initiatives within multiple clients/accounts and across multiple geographies. Success in negotiating and managing both time and fixed price contracts to a planned and profitable outcome. Commercial astuteness and awareness of feasibility and risk. The teamwork, communications, and management process skills needed for success in a rapidly growing and changing organization.
