Chief Executive - Group Facilitator (Chair)

RESPONSIBILITIES:The Chair is responsible for recruiting and leading at least two CEO groups or one CEO group and one Key Executive group.
A Chair is also responsible for:
?Leading confidential, monthly group meetings, where members assist each other in solving business problems
?Coaching, mentoring, and acting as a confidant for each member in monthly, two hour one-to-ones, for the purpose of discovering the most significant issues for their business
?Recruiting and conducting selection interviews with prospective members
?Ensuring a retention rate of at least 80% of your members in each group and maintaining a group size of 16 members
•Identifying the most relevant topics for each group and working with headquarters to schedule expert speakers
•Ensuring adequate attendance at monthly meeting which will enhance member satisfaction
•Being an active participant in the local Vistage community
COMPENSATION:This opportunity is an independent contractor role. Compensation will be based on the number of groups and members in each group.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be “intrapreneurial” with extensive experience and success, as a business executive. While the overall quality of a candidate’s profile will be the determining factor in the selection process, the finalist must have the following requisite qualifications:
?Prior experience as a CEO or other C-level executive, with P&L responsibility, at a mid to large sized organization
?Extensive network of CEO contacts or trusted advisors to CEOs in your community
?Availability to dedicate a minimum of 50% of your time to recruiting members and running your groups
?Financial ability to sustain yourself during the 6 month group build/recruiting process
?Ability to travel to our corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA for three, one week training sessions over a four month period
?Minimum two years (preferably five) years of business experience in your market
?Strong computer skills as you will need to use digital recording equipment, burn CDs, attend Webinars, use the internet for marketing and research purposes and use the e-mail and calendar functions in Outlook
EDUCATION:An outstanding record of achievement, including an undergraduate degree is required. Graduate degree in business preferred.
