Manage and be responsible for the development, completion and certification of a new business jet aircraft. This includes all engineering activities from initiation through certification ensuring completion of project objectives on schedule and within budget. Interface with and support FAA certification, flight test, quality assurance and manufacturing, Ensure professional and thorough documentation of work.Reports to: Engineering ManagerApplicants must be U.S. Citizen or have permanent residency.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years experience in the design and development of aircraft structures and systems.Experience in FAA Part 23 and Part 25 certification.
Minimum BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience.
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks simultaneously required with project and personnel management background preferred.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including MS Project
Excellent technical writing skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively and contribute in a cross functional team environment as a team leader and player.
Free and creative thinker but able to focus on task at hand within schedule and budget requirements.U.S. Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyDesired Skills and Abilities:
Experience in 3D modeling, Solid Works 3D CAD modeling preferred.
A&P mechanic experience or exposure helpful.
General aviation piloting experience helpful.
