Channel Sales Mgr - Storage - East Coast (MA)

Privately held, VC backed, leader in Intelligent Disk-based Data Protection solutions seeking Channel Sales Mgr to drive ancillary/viacarious revenues via building, supporting, and sustaining key regional VARs on the East Coast (New England, NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, DC, VA, MD). Position will require up to 25% travel.

Ideal Candidate will come from: Network Appliance, EMC, SGI, McData, HDS, SUN/STK, XIOTECH, Isilon, Enginio, Compellant, Intransa, or storage VAR focusing primarily in the development and support of channel/VAR partnerships.

Company's solution is turnkey disk-based backup system ideal for mid-market and small enterprise companies (300-4000 employees) looking to quickly and cost-effectively eliminate the hassles of tape backup while reducing their existing backup windows. Their solution works in conjunction with existing backup applications, combining high quality SATA drives with byte-level delta data reduction to deliver unparalleled cost savings and performance. Company's data reduction technology stores only the changes from backup to backup instead of storing full file copies, reducing the amount of disk space needed to at least 20 to 1, and resulting in a solution that is 25% the cost of standard SATA drives. Solutions can be used at a primary site and at a second site to supplement or eliminate offsite tapes with a live data repository or for disaster recovery.
