Category Analyst - Category Management

Analyze and Evaluate factors that affect 4 sales controllables (distribution, pricing, shelving, promotion) in order to achieve sales objectives. Providing analytical insight into the decision process making processes, adding perspective and value to the business planning.
Collect and analyze account specific data evaluating for fair share. This is usine syndicated data and/or accoutn specific data.
Develop customer schematics.
Serve as a resource in the utilization and understanding of category managment based priciples and processes.
Define data requirements, scope, and aanlaytical know-how in support of schematics development, product mix, category definition, profitability and segment development.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years business / analytical experience.
Must have experience working with Wal-Mart data.
Should have experience with IRI and/or Nielsen syndicated data.
Should have merchandising (Apollo, Pro Space, Custom) and consumer insight experience.
