Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations reports directly to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. The Associate Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations will assist with a campus-wide program for developing corporate and foundation support for the campus’ priorities. Specifically, the incumbent will manage a significant portfolio of corporate and corporate alumni prospects.Qualified candidates will possess three to five years work experience in a fundraising, grants administration or corporate relations, preferably with an educational institution; previous experience in proposal preparation and submission or related corporate/business experience; hold a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred); strong oral, writing and administrative skills; availability to travel; and experience working with senior level executives and professionals is required. Teaching and/or public speaking experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations reports directly to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. The Assistant Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations will assist with a campus-wide program for developing corporate support for the campus’ priorities. Specifically, the incumbent will be a self-starter, helping develop and manage a multi-faceted corporate relations program. The program will be inclusive of grants, in-kind gifts, scholarship and fellowship funding and maximization of matching gifts in support of the comprehensive campaign. The Assistant will partner with other units and individuals on campus, key alumni and industry association groups to implement this strategy.Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of three to five years of related experience, with a proven track record in development/philanthropy or industry experience in business development, community relations, recruitment or university relations; hold a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred); previous experience in proposal preparation or contract negotiation; experience working with senior-level executives and professionals; strong oral, writing, and administrative skills, in addition to night and weekend travel are required. Public speaking experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.
