Business Process Management Consultant

(NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.BearingPoint is seeking Business Process Management Consultant team members for its Financial Services Technology practice.Candidate should have project experience that involves any one or more of the following components within the financial services industry:

Workflow tools and technologies
Business process documentation and design
Enterprise Application Integration
Configurable business rule execution engines
Real-time reporting / executive dashboards
Service-Oriented Architectures
Straight-through processing
Activity-based costing
Six-Sigma or ISO 900x.Responsibilities:

Work as a part of as team to design and deliver consulting solutions related to Business Process Automation / Business Process Management in the financial services industry

Competent with modern tools, technologies and design methodologies (J2EE, .NET, UML, RUP)

Provide direction and mentoring to development and test team members

Understand key performance indicators for core business processes, seeks solutions to reduce costs, manage risk, and improve profitability

Create effective and efficient technical designs for automating and monitoring business process execution across multiple applications and user roles

Provide structured and creative analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities and key performance indicators

Effectively communicate with project management and team members (both BearingPoint and client)

Understand critical success factors for the client and its industry

Build long-term relationships with key clients

Deliver timely and quality services meeting or exceeding expectations of team manager and client

Support engagement planning and control processes, while performing work within cost targets

Support major proposal efforts

Identify additional client opportunitiesRequirements:

2+ years experience implementing BPM solutions, ideally with Lombardi or Global 360

5+ years in Software Development, Testing, Change Management, or Reengineering, 5+ years J2EE and/or .NET development skills

1+ year experience in one or more segments of the Financial Services industry is desirable.Candidates must have the ability to accommodate a Monday-Friday travel schedule.
