We are currently seeking a BI Manager/Principal Consultant with strong knowledge of data warehousing strategies, architecture, and infrastructure, to work with Fortune 500 companies in the greater Philadelphia area.
(That's right -- very little travel.)
You will use your mastery of the data warehousing paradigm to identify business problems, develop and define solutions, and lead a team in creating the technology architecture to provide solutions. Equally excellent communication, leadership and technological skills are a must, as you will work with both internal and external teams to
gather business requirements and define the technical/data architectural support requirements
create subject area diagrams, logical data models and data warehouse data models
conduct discussions with key business analysts and end users to identify requirements and data sources
assist in conducting readiness assessments, creating management procedures, planning, and implementing the infrastructure
define standards, rules and guidelines, briefing the appropriate audiences related to the planned use of specific components.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess 7-15 years of professional experience in the local Philadelphia market, including at least 3 in management consulting, along with strong, proven knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse/Data Mart Design and the full development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Development, and Implementation).
A BIG 4 background is preferred.
You should also be familiar with:
major BI software vendors/products (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, Microstrategy)
data quality planning and management
multiple hardware and database platforms
major ETL/EAI toolsets
project management
