Responsibilities include, sourcing new opportunities, building relationships qualifying leads and closing “the sale”. Business development managers should have excellent organizational skills and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential.Description of duties and responsibilities:

Cultivates and maintains strong business relationships that are centered on client profitability.

Identifies new opportunities for business.

Developing, meeting and exceeding volume and revenue goals.

Contacts key individuals of clients on a regular basis; monthly, quarterly or semi-annually and reports activity.

Assist in preparation of proposals for significant clients.

Implements local marketing initiatives and fosters growth.

Compiling tertiary information such as competitive information, marketplace analysis and client concerns.

Updates and maintains client account details through Aon’s CRM application.

Maintains accurate expense accounts.

Maintains timely and accurate sales information reporting.

Travel as necessary.Essential Skills and Knowledge:Candidates must have at least 5+ years sales or business development experience selling into AmLaw 200 law firms and Fortune 500 organizations. The candidate should have experience selling at least one of the following; computer forensics, e-discovery, litigation support, special IT investigations, information risk management, data compliance services, forensic accounting, dispute advisory, etc. Advanced degrees are a plus.Candidates contacts should have experience developing sales with Litigation partners, General Counsels’ office, CIO, CTO, CFO, IT Manager, etc.Special Skills required:

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Mid level financial analysis capabilities.
