JOB PURPOSE THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL SALES POSITION WITH OUR COMPANY. Responsible to implement a Sales and Business Development strategy to promote the on-going market growth of assigned hospital partnerships, imaging centers and other business responsibilities as the need arises.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Visits area physicians’ offices in markets served by Fee-For-Service Partner Hospitals, Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centers and other business operations with the objective of selling services offered, creating/expanding the physician referral base and increasing scan volume. Communicates information regarding site imaging capabilities and services; initiates and/or strengthens relationships with physicians and staff and gathers information regarding the physicians’ use of diagnostic imaging services. Responsible to identify, develop and schedule physician appointments. Conducts sales calls, cold-calls and delivers promotional marketing materials to physician offices. Participates in regional trade shows and physician conferences, as appropriate. Assists in the development and/or implementation of marketing materials such as printed materials, brochures, videos, premium marketing/promotional items. Performs market research activities such as gathering service area specific market data, researching various modalities, and assessing competition in particular markets.
REQUIREMENTS



INDUSTRY AND EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE Some general Medical Industry or equipment knowledge is preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL SALES POSITION WITH OUR COMPANY. Bachelor degree in Business Management or related area from a four-year college or university; and one to three years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER OPERATIONS Basic personal computer skills in MS Office including electronic mail, scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Goal-oriented; positive mental attitude; exceptional interpersonal / communication skills; self-driven initiative; self-starter; engaging personality; highly creative.
