Business Development Sales Engineer
The Business Development Sales Engineer position will report to the Manager of the Sales Department and will perform the following duties:
Based on information from industry sources, trade shows, and market research compiles list of prospective customers and sales leads: and visits potential and existing customers to enhance relationships and demonstrate and communicate capabilities. Travels throughout assigned territory or market to call on prospective and existing customers orders. Evaluate inquiries, meet regularly with appropriate inter-company personnel, such as tooling, engineering, and production. Serves as contact between sales and manufacturing on assigned products. Analyze customer requirements and determine product improvements. Assist field representatives and customers in the evaluation of design modifications that benefit RFC and the customers. Processes quotes and sales orders; Investigates customer problems and coordinates and communicates resolution. Prepares reports of business transactions and keep expense account coordinates customer visits to RFC when appropriate and necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical field; or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Experience/familiar with manufacturing products and technical/quality requirements.
Flexible schedule to accommodate customer schedules and visits.
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Ability to frequently travel domestically and internationally. Must be able to travel at least 60% of time or more.
Passionate, task oriented personality committed to taking responsibility for the sales efforts.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in roll forming industry or metalworking. Business Administration degree or background. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
