Business Development Professional – Public Safety

L. Robert Kimball & Associates is seeking a Business Development Professional for its Telecommunications and Technology Division to lead and support Business Development to include contract acquisition activities with a focus upon radio services, public safety and homeland security. Preferred office locations are our Mid-Atlantic offices located in: State College, PA; Harrisburg, PA; West Chester, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Vienna, VA and Richmond, VA.

Overview of Responsibilities:
•Responsible for executing sales and business development processes for radio services to include contract acquisition activities.
•Develop potential sales leads and leverage network for new clients.
•Provide oversight of client satisfaction with deliverables and services.
•Coordination of presentations and proposal development.
•Represent Kimball at selected conferences.
•Exceed annual sales goals.
•Able to provide problem resolutions.
•Attend and participate in corporate/division sales and planning meetings.
•Maintain, via AWARD (Deltek), current status of all sales opportunities and keep database current.
•Meet and achieve sales goals through (Triangle of Success) TOS Team to include scheduling and leading sales meetings and activities.
•Able to work within a strong team oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
•The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of corporate/business-to-business relations experience gained in-house and/or with a respected communications agency. Strong knowledge and background in technology and/or public safety telecommunications is highly desired.
•Previous sales success.
•Potential client network that contributes to the success of this market segment.
•Experienced with presentations, proposal development.
•Travel will be required to successfully execute the duties of this position.
