Employee Type: Full Time Regular (R) Job Description: Cananwill, a business unit of Aon Corporation, is looking for an energetic, motivated self -starter to further develop our business relationships in Ohio, Michigan,KentuckY and Indiana. Cananwill provides premium funding products to the commercial property and casualty insurance industry. Cananwill maintains full-service offices throughout the world, serving clients from small businesses to major "Fortune 500" corporations. All products are marketed through retail and wholesale insurance brokers and insurance companies.The ideal candidate will be energetic and self motivated to build new relationships, as well as retain and expand existing business relationships. Set 12-15 appointments a week aimed at generating new leads, networking, reviewing referrals, and attending conventions.You will be provided the necessary tools to work from home (fax machine, printer and other communication tools) when not traveling in the field. You will also be afforded a company car/or car allowance. You will be mentored by our Management Team to learn the Commercial Premium Finance business and translate your knowledge into identifying opportunities to grow the business. TRAVEL IS REQUIREDOnly qualified candidates will be considered.Primary Focus-
Identify, develop and maintain the revenue stream in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana, to expand Cananwill's commercial premium finance business. Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships that maximize production and margin. Identify and appoint new agents and brokers. Design and implement strategies for marketing proposal plans and agreements that keep pace with industry trends, insured needs, producer expectations, and foster growth. Travel required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Cultivates and maintains strong business relationships that
maximize production and margin.
Identifies, solicits and appoints candidates in all three distribution channels
Responsible for follow through of each client need’s assessment
Contacts key individuals of clients on a regular basis; monthly, quarterly or semi-annually to pursue and close potential business opportunities.
Identifies key individuals within prospects and develop a relationship with that individual
Assist in preparation of renewal and new business transactions for substantial insureds (> $250,000)
Analyze and determine applicable rate charts for individual clients. Monitor and revise as appropriate
Designs and implements strategies for marketing proposals, plans
and agreements that keep pace with industry trends, insured
needs, producer expectations and foster growth.
Maintains accurate expense accounts
Maintains timely and accurate sales information reporting via salesforce.com
Developing, meeting and exceeding annual goals
Travel as necessary
Provides guidance and coaching to remote support staff while
interacting with management regarding all company issues, competitive information, marketplace analysis, client concerns, and credit/collection situations
Job Requirements
3-5 years in financial services sales
Underwriting or marketing for insurance company
Basic knowledge of sales processes and methodologies. Insurance or banking processes Commercial credit.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mid Level financial analysis capabilities
Advanced Excel and Powerpoint capabilitiesEDUCATION:
