Business Development Managers - DoD, NASA

The Business Development Manager researches customers, prospects and programs for viability as sources of business for the company.Develops and manages the Business Development activities at assigned customers and prospects.Establishes and maintains personal contact with DOD, prime contractor and subcontractor officials to determine possible purchases of company products and/or services.Prepares programs for qualification and develops win strategy.Supports proposal preparation and maintains customer interface.Submits proposals, makes presentations, handles questions and is instrumental in closing the business.Supports the Director of Business Development in the administration of databases, bookings reviews, forecasting and planning.Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a bachelors degree, MBA preferred.7 years related BD experience within the DoD or aerospace industryMust have the ability to analyze a customer’s needs, propose solutions that satisfies the customer and meets the Company’s business objectives.Experience in one of the following:Space products (specifically satellites, communications) experience is necessary for one position. This position can be based anywhere.COMSEC experience is ideal for the other position. Other electronic contract manufacturing experience will be considered as long as it is DoD related. This person will need to be based in Tampa.
