The Business Development Manager spends the majority of his or her time in the field, working closely with existing and prospective clients. This person will approach new clients in a consultative manner, offering Accountants Inc. staffing and recruiting services. This is a relationship-driven role! Face to face meetings with clients would include introduction to our company and services, needs assessments, getting to know the client company and culture, presenting candidates as solutions to hiring needs, celebrating placements and employment anniversaries, sharing holiday gifts, conducting our region-based Annual Compensation, Benefits and Worlkplace Trends Survey and presenting the results, thanking clients with lunch and sponsoring and hosting value-add events.

REQUIREMENTS
As the ideal candidate, your skills and experiences will include:
3+ years of business-to-business sales and account management experience (longevity at one or more companies is a must)
Experience functioning as a team to produce results
Ability to develop proposals and negotiate contracts
Proven track record of building relationships and affecting the bottom line
Fearless ability to cold call and market into senior level accounting and finance decision makers of small to large size companies
Strong knowledge of the local area marketplace
Bachelor's Degree
