Business Development Manager - Work Comp Insurance

What you will be doing:
Market Applied's product to independent insurance Agencies and Brokers
Develop the IIABA "Joint Agency Company Planning Tool" to include production and related goals for agents and brokers within a region
Produce written premium production goals through the distribution channel
Participate in research and development of the Company's product offerings
Travel frequently up to 50% throughout the specified region of the United States
Maintain active participation in the insurance community including industry trade associations and targeted client industry groups
Establish a key distribution network to facilitate Company production goals, position in the marketplace, and communication strategy
REQUIREMENTS
What you must have:
Established network or working relationship with independent insurance agencies or brokers
Bachelor's degree with business management, marketing, economics/finance is preferred.
Licensed Agent/Broker
A minimum of 5 plus years experience in the insurance industry in one of the following fields:
Production Underwriting
Retail Brokerage
Property Casualty Marketing
Preferred intangibles
Instinctual ability to successfully create and grow a new territory
Superior leadership skills with equally strong abilities to close board room level deals
Proven track record of successful client development and relationship management
Proven track record of successful team management, mentoring and sales growth
