The Ideal candidate is somebody that can operate in a sales engineer capacity. Experience selling to semiconductor equipment OEMs is required.
My client changes our world by providing industry with break-through solutions for an amazing variety of engineered parts and integrated systems made from advanced materials. Their Semiconductor organization has an opportunity available for a talented Business Development / Account Management person. This position will be located in the San Francisco, CA Area

Position Summary: This Business Development position will be responsible for generating and managing business opportunities at targeted company’s customers in the Bay Area operating in a sales engineer capacity.

Essential Functions:

Sales, business development and project management responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts:Design Engineers and Engineering Managers
Buyers and Program Managers Executives

Drive New Product Introduction projects:
Initiate develop and define customer requirements
Communicate the voice of the customer to our internal organization

Guide and track development projects to completion in a timely manner

Maintain strong relationships and communication links with multiple company facilities & organizations

Develop, maintain and execute account specific strategic plans
Travel to customers and Companies facilities as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Recommendations/Requirements:

Knowledge of the semiconductor capital equipment industry and/or experience with sales to large OEM customers

Experience with advanced materials (ceramics, plastics, etc.) and/or manufacturing of components in a build-to-print environment

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering) or an equivalent experience level
Computer literate in Microsoft Office, etc.
