Business Development Manager - Life Sciences

We have the following opportunity available:

Responsible for new applications/equipment, market development, and sales opportunities in the Life Science market, providing management of high value, long term projects while identifying and investigating new sales opportunities. This position will play a key role in the continued sales efforts to grow the Life Science business by increasing the level of understanding of this market and related products.

Develops technical, application or customer requirements for assigned projects, interfacing and coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Engineering and other appropriate personnel as needed, while using proven technical ability and a strong understanding of the Life Science/Medical Device sales industry. Must be well organized to maintain and provide management with detailed project, prospect and activity records.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration required, MBA preferred; or eight years equivalent sales experience, medical device industry preferred. Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills, organizational detail skills; and problem solving skills. Highly creative in identifying, developing and presenting novel applications; superior ability in project initiation, management and development.
