Business Development Manager/ I.T. Services Sales Rep

GillTek Systems is currently seeking a Business Development Manager with recent experience in the IT Services industry, preferably in staffing or as a technical consultant.
The main focus of this position is to open new accounts both locally and nationally. The successful candidate will be required to:
Target and research companies who will benefit from our consulting services.
Belong to one or more networking groups and have both drive and sophistication.
Develop prospecting lists, make outbound cold calls to new prospective clients and cultivate prospects into long term customers.
Maintain excellent client relationships.
You will have recruiters who will find qualified candidates to fulfill your client's needs but will also be given the freedom to recruit candidates on your own. This is not a position where you will be micro-managed - your success at GillTek is tied directly to your ability to sell IT Services.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Outside Sales Professional for a staffing service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop close relationships with customers, fellow employees and job candidates
Experience with MS Word and ACT or GoldMine customer relationship management software required
Experience with searching resumes on Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice, job boards and other online resources preferred
Maintenance of excellent client relationships is critical.
Background in IT, software development, programming languages or ERP (such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) desired.
Self-motivated and self-directed
Good time-management skills
Proven success in securing new customers
