Business Development Manager - Air Force

Since its founding in 1978, SRA has successfully performed thousands of high-level projects delivering sophisticated information technology (IT) systems and solutions to the U. S. Government and commercial organizations. We combine extensive domain knowledge with technical expertise to help our clients improve their performance. Our capabilities span the system development life cycle and include systems integration, as well as data and text mining services and solutions. SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: Work closely with the appropriate SRA business units to provide strategic direction and leadership; develop comprehensive account plans; identify and qualify new business opportunities; develop innovative capture strategies; and assist in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients. The candidate will focus on marketing primarily to the Air Force community and therefore should have a strong network of contacts and familiar with the major programs and upcoming iniatives within the AF MAJCOMS.The candidate must be a self starter who can cite a history of competitive wins on key programs in the Federal sector. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success leading new large-scale business initiatives. While it is expected that the final candidates will have established relationships and credibility with key government decision makers, the candidtes must also have the knowledge and experience to lead the company through the entire capture/sales process. Daily Responsibilities Continued Minimum 10 years business development experience within the IT service solutions environment; strong team player and now how to use appropriate resources to maximize business capture; familiar with the regulations that drive the Federal Government technology capture process and be a strong advocate for the company.
