To support the Chief Medical Officer through the implementation of projects to evaluate and improve program performance including the evaluation of new products. Work with the CMO to insure strong linkages to operations, information systems and finance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Develop and implement analyses of product performance and a regular reporting structure, which provide key indicators of performance and are linked to actions, which use the data to improve the effectiveness of product delivery. Coordinate between business units and the program/outcomes areas on behalf of the CMO. Develop tools, which support the ongoing evaluation of program performance and push the quality improvement cycle to product/outcome-operations teams. Integrate the use of claims, Rx and lab data into the AIM program and the product performance evaluation process. Develop and implement analyses that evaluate new program features including the oversight to the testing and implementation of pilots of new program capabilities. Support the evaluation and re-organization of the outcomes/product development areas to progressively improve the effectiveness and speed of delivery of new product Work with the CMO to establish linkages to customer health plans and employers to acquire data, which can be used as inputs to earlier participant intervention and for program evaluation. Support the CMO in the implementation of business acquisitions into the product development and outcomes areas. Create presentations, which demonstrate the product, its performance and the activities/work of the outcomes/product development areas. Develop the total department budget variance reporting process and coordinate the annual budget development for the department.BENEFITS:

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
BA or BS degree, with emphasis on statistics, business, or health required. Masters in Business (MBA) or Health Administration (MPH, MHA) preferred.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Five or more years experience in statistics and data analysis preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, disease management or managed care setting. Two or more years experience with statistical software programs. Experience with custom report generators.
Experience with government contracts e.g. Medicaid, Medicare, Medi-Cal, CMS preferred.
One to four years experience with databases preferably Access and SQL Server. Proficiency in MS Office products to include Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project, Visio, Outlook and internet use.
Proficiency with SAS, SPSS or other statistical software.
Business analysis experience in consulting firm a plus.
