This is a key position within the Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team. The Business Analyst / Trainer will develop and implement training on the EPM and EMR system for medical personnel and physicians, apply changes within the system and support the system with the end users. The team strategy is to deliver a full compliment of an enterprise practice management system as well as a fully featured Electronic Medical Record to the provider community. The DPSS team is close to a start-up environment where everything is being built from the ground up so this is a perfect opportunity to join a growing team. SPECIFIC DUTIES
Develop training programs for new users.Lead the systems lifecycle for enhancements; including business requirements, process flows, systems analysis, configuration recommendations, training and implementation.Become proficient in applying system changes, measuring impacts of change and/or providing recommendations for system changes.Train users on new upgrades or feature improvements.Serve as quality check to ensure the software is being appropriately utilized by the users as well as maximizing the capabilities of the software.Provide operational background to be able to assess workflow requirements and make recommendations to users.Provide comprehensive knowledge resource regarding the EPM & EMR application to the MPMG physician community.Schedule ongoing training programs and more advanced training on a periodic basis to ensure continued efficient and appropriate utilization of the program.Be available for after hours pager rotation support, as neededOther duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent verbal/written communication especially with non-technical staff requiredRequired to have the ability to train end users on the functionality of medical softwareKnowledge of NextGen or other EMR / EHR software preferred2-4 years experience in the day-to-day operations of a medical practice preferredHands on programming not required.Experience with Crystal Reports is preferred.Demonstrate a working proficiency in the Microsoft Windows and Office SuiteExcellent customer service skills requiredBachelors degree preferredValid CA drivers licenseRelocation will not be provided
