Business Analyst - Human Resources Business Office
- The overall mission of the HR Business Office Information Management Team is to help business partners strategically apply human resources data in making business decisions. This Business Analyst position exists to assist the organization in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking and internally managing and reporting data.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Develops reports with accurate, easy to read, useful information
- Participates in the development of outcomes and process measures
- Tests and maintains data integrity across multiple databases (SAS, DB2, Excel).
- Translates needs, issues and ideas into effective strategies and action plans.

KEY JOB FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS JOB OPPORTUNITY
1. Understands the business processes and needs of our customers
2. Provides subject matter expertise from a business perspective
3. Primary liaison with business partners and Systems
4. Define, analyze, clarify, interpret, and translate detailed business requirements
5. Coordinates and executes the development of test cases and analysis of results
6. Plans, develops, coordinates, and delivers training to appropriate users
7. Analyzes and resolves problems through use of automated reporting tools
8. Maintains system applications and tables to meet business partners' needs and legal requirements
9. Research, evaluate, recommend and document new products, processes, workflows and procedures to provide technical and business solutions for business partners
10. Facilitate/engage in continuous process improvement within area of responsibility
11. Monitor and analyze HR technology and industry trends within assigned area of responsibility
12. Assist business partners with implementation of hardware/software applications
13. Lead projects as assigned following project management practices
14. Manage expenses in accordance with Division, Department and Enterprise goals
