Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to design, build and deploy effective business process and technology-enabled solutions based on proven operations analysis, solution development methodologies and deployment experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Conducts research studies that may include analyzing, reviewing, trending, presenting information for to support or refute hypotheses.
Develops, enhances, maintains budget or financial planning models, surveys, benchmarks.
Evaluates and presents information that will facilitate decision-making.
Maintains work papers, data, work plans, methods and results in a way that can be recreated and leveraged as intellectual capital.
Develops job aids, training material and instructions for team members (others) that collect data for analysis.
Creates written and oral communication materials that effectively summarize findings, supports fact-based recommendations and provides appropriate detail to substantiate conclusions.
Creates work breakdown structures (i.e., work plans) to execute recommendations.

The ability to summarize the research learning's and formulate effective recommendations based on process/technology content and expertise gained from the research and analysis efforts.
The ability to understand, interpret and predict outcomes of existing business processes, current technology solutions and anticipate the outcomes of introducing change to existing operational designs.
The ability to think critically about existing process and technology solutions.
The ability to identify the data and data capture techniques required to investigate, evaluate and discover insight about existing business processes.
The ability to develop models, simulations and pilots to research, test and modify designs and solution components to deliver business benefit.
The ability to develop effective, realistic business cases that integrate to a given solution's business benefits.
The ability to identify the necessary change activities (i.e., deployment approaches) to ensure successful deployment and adoption of business and technology solutions.
The ability to estimate work effort and create appropriately scoped work breakdown structures (i.e., work plans) for work activities to research, design, build and deploy business solutions.
The ability to adequately and clearly define work deliverables.
The ability to execute against work breakdown structures, monitor work tasks, develop estimates-to-complete and quality assure work team deliverables.
The ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritize work accordingly.
Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
BA/BS in Business or specialty of functional area, or equivalent experience.
At least 6-8 years of experience including:
2+ years experience in a high-volume transaction processing environment (service industry experience preferred).
3+ years experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to management required.
3+ years directly related experience in conducting business studies and recommending solutions required.
Thorough knowledge of PC based software programs and automated database management systems required.
May require experience in mainframe applications and / or statistical applications.
Knowledge of functional policies, procedures, processes, standards and / or legislative issues.
Math, accounting and / or financial principles.
Six Sigma exposure.
Process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation processes.
