Business Alliance Coordinator Professional Needed
As a Business Alliance Coordinator, you will manage strategic partnerships with a short list of printer manufacturers and application vendors in your territory. You will be responsible for selling the value of our software products to our Alliance Partners’ sales force so that they refer our software to their customers. In collaboration with the LRS direct sales force, you will ultimately drive additional sales.
At Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc., you will coordinate business relationships with our Alliance Partners with the goal of finding additional sales opportunities for our company’s Enterprise Output Management (EOM) software. LRS’ EOM software products are marketed to customers by our Alliance Partners using a sales referral model. EOM software delivers business critical application output to a variety of destinations including production printers, multi-function devices, network printers, email systems, archives, etc. You will help us increase overall sales by establishing and maintaining a trusting relationship with sales teams, technical contacts and managers at both LRS and our Alliance Partners. You will be responsible for partnerships with printer manufacturers like Lexmark, Océ, Ricoh, Source Technologies and Xerox.
As a Business Alliance Coordinator, you will increase revenue for LRS through sales and marketing activity with the Alliance Partners within your assigned region. You will develop a good understanding of Alliance Partner solutions and how our EOM software adds value for their customers. You will use and communicate this knowledge via telephone calls, WebEx demonstrations, on-site presentations and customer meetings to help our sales representatives sell LRS’ EOM software products in conjunction with our Alliance Partners. You will work with LRS sales representatives and Alliance Partner representatives to educate these sales teams in an effort to generate and win new sales opportunities. You will be expected to attain a sales quota based on revenue resulting from opportunities your Alliance Partners generate.
You will be based in our Springfield, IL or St. Louis office. You will travel up to fifty percent (50%) per year, primarily to meet with Alliance Partner contacts, attend customer meetings, travel to the LRS corporate headquarters, and to participate in trade shows as required. You may be required to travel on weekends a couple of times per year.You must have a minimum of 5 years experience selling either business applications software solutions or printer hardware solutions. At least 50% of this sales experience must have been in an individual contributor sales role.
You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorships are available.Formal product training on LRS software products will be provided; however, a good understanding of computing and computer network concepts is necessary.
Channel sales experience will make you a stronger candidate. Experience selling printer hardware from our Partners (Océ, Xerox, Lexmark, Ricoh, etc.) or ERP application solutions (such as JD Edwards, SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle) is preferred, but not required.Your success will be measured by your ability to generate sales opportunities and achieve your revenue quota based on the sales revenue resulting from these opportunities. You will accomplish this through creating and maintaining relationships with LRS Alliance Partners in your region.You will need to develop a clear understanding of the business operating environments and print requirements of prospective customers. You will work both independently and as part of a team.
