RustOleum is currently seeking a Brand Marketing Specialist to join our Brand Marketing Team at our corporate Headquarters in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

This person’s main responsibility will be to assist in all brand marketing activities including research, competitive analysis, new product development and execution, packaging and sales presentations.

Responsibilities
•Development and production of packaging from copywriting to translations to routing to press proofing
•Assist in the execution of photo shoots for packaging and trade and consumer communications, including competitive proposals and buying, painting, styling and directing project and product photography
•Work with Sales and the Business Information Group in putting together sales presentations that impact new products and programs, including producing new product comps, displays and project exhibits
•Produce brand materials required for research studies including competitive samples, product samples and concept boards.
•Work with Public Relations Agency in tracking, reporting and merchandising publicity write-ups. Fill editorial requests for information, retail pricing and product samples. Manage and publicity lead programs and consumer contests including managing the fulfillment house, consumer database and consumer follow-up.
•Perform competitive analysis and create color trend presentation books.
•Track and report packaging, public relations and advertising budgets.
•Expedite completion of New Business Opportunity Documents and Product-to-Market Bills of Material.
•Head up transition team for changing product and packaging regulations
•Create bi-annual (November and April) new product launch kits.
REQUIREMENTS
•4 year college degree, preferably in Marketing. MBA a plus.
•One year of marketing experience
•Organize, prioritize and work on a number of projects simultaneously
•Meticulous attention to detail and a strong creative ability
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
