or e-mail a resumeQUALIFICATIONS1. Some college and/or minimum five years legal administrative experience and/or executive assistant experience working with attorneys.2. General knowledge of legal terminology, principles, procedures and basic research methods.3. Mature judgment and discretion in application of principles of legal confidentiality and privilege.4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (especially Powerpoint and Word).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAssist with preparation and drafting of corporate disclosure and other legal documents.Conduct preliminary legal research for particular issues as assigned by attorneys using periodicals, law library, public records and online legal resources.Review and edit prepared documents for accuracy.Handle basic administrative practices: word processing, typing, filing, photocopying, memos and correspondence, fax and telephone duties (messages, screening), appointment calendars, mail, greeting departmental visitors.Assist executive area when needed.General and confidential filing and file maintenance as directed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
