BUSINESS SERVICES MANAGER

Cranbrook Educational Community seeks a Business Services Manager to directly manage and supervise daily efficient and effective operations of Business Services (Purchasing, Contract and Insurance Administration, Inventory/Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving & Mailroom). Will supervises five employees, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Services functions, determine work priorities, design workflow, assign work and monitor completion of work in a timely manner in order to achieve goals and objectives of Business Services. The range for this position is in the low $50’s, with excellent benefits that include medical, dental, life and retirement plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires: Bachelor’s degree in business management/material management/logistics profession/field or equivalent; a min. of 5 yrs. exp. in Business Services, purchasing/stores, mailroom/warehouse operations, with a min. of 3 yrs. supervisory experience demonstrating effective skills in management & supervisory techniques. Requires considerable knowledge and skills in warehousing, shipping, receiving & mailroom services procedures, commercial insurance and purchasing administration. Professional purchasing certification (APP or CPM) preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills required to direct and lead Business Services and its employees toward effectively achieving goals and objectives.
