Your Role
Use Your Creativity and Sales Ability. Using state-of-the-art systems, you'll provide large corporate customers with everything from office space design to coordination of furnishings, including:Expert planning and layout of available space for maximum efficiency; Design assistance and advice for choosing fabrics, finishes, colors, window, wall and floor coverings, and art work; Ergonomic evaluation to assure a healthier, more user-friendly environment for our corporate customers; Office standardization to assist customers with establishing and following consistent guidelines; Creating custom designs for special needs or matching existing furniture designs; and Conducting customer presentations.
Work with Other Top Talent. As part of a knowledgeable team, you'll develop and apply collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and grow furniture sales.
Showcase your Project Management Skills. You'll function as the primary liaison with corporate customers to provide unsurpassed, full-cycle project management, including: Providing a single point of contact for corporate customers for questions, answers, and project schedule updates; Coordination of contractors and suppliers, including movers, painters, electricians, carpet installers and other trades. Plus coordination with voice, data and IT suppliers; Ensuring efficient product tracking for timely shipment and delivery; and Overseeing installation supervision and follow-up.

Bachelor's degree in related field (interior design/sales preferred) and/or combination of education and experience. Two+ years of successful space planning and design and outside sales experience within the office furniture industry. Skill in setting appointments with appropriate level-decision makers. Current knowledge of all pricing, fabric and finish changes from vendors Skill with preparing value propositions and standards programs. Proficiency with Giza and Data One/Design Express to specify systems furnishings. Excellent project-management and follow-up. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills to effectively present information to customers and managers. Intermediate personal computer skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office products, email and other proprietary software. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and initiate action in a timely manner. Possession of a valid Driver's License. Must live within the assigned territory with ability to travel within designated territory (minimal overnight travel may be required).
