Auto Insurance Sales Representative

The Quote and Bind Customer Service Representatives are specially trained and licensed to take information, provide a quote and bind insurance coverage over the phone. Customers who purchase an auto policy are then routed back to the agent whose number they initially dialed, providing the agent the opportunity to build a relationship with that customer. Core business hours take place after the agents' offices are closed for the day.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Some College or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Insurance, or related area is preferred, but not required.
Sales oriented, must be able to lead and close a sales call.
Strong phone communication skills.
Self confident, strong initiative, and leadership courage.
Ability to adapt and make business decisions.
Must remain current in continuing education courses as required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Front line selling of State Farm auto policies and marketing of other product lines.
Serves as 1st level contact in inbound phones sales center via various means of communication.
Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.
Requires knowledge of company products and/or services.
Successfully completes General Property & Casualty insurance license to sell and service designated State Farm auto products.
Uses established procedures, scripts, and screens.
Provides accurate auto rate quotes and applications of selected automobiles to our external customers.
Pivots to ancillary business for our State Farm Agents to transition to other lines of business.
Learns and applies product, industry and market knowledge to make professional recommendations to prospects and policyholders.
Participates in ongoing sales and performance training.
Utilizes the proper sales process to increase sales results.

Additional Position Information:

There is a 18 month incumbency in Enterprise Services.
Full and Part-time positions available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift.
Incumbent may work irregular hours based on workload and job requirements.
The response center is a 24 x 7 x 365 environment. Incumbent must be willing to work flexible shifts as operation dictates.
