Associate, Structured Risk
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Risk ManagementResponsibilities: The Risk Analyst works with the Senior Risk Analyst to analyze customer operations and finances in order to determine credit worthiness in accordance with GE Franchise Finance underwriting guidelines.
Interface with clients under supervision of a Senior Risk Analyst for all underwriting issues related to assigned transactions in the Structured Beverage and Restaurant industries.
Analyze client developed financial models and develop detailed internal financial models.
Support the Senior Risk Analyst in credit analysis, due diligence, negotiation , and documentation.
Support the Senior Risk Analyst in preparation of credit approval memoranda, the identification of risks and mitigants, and presentation of the merits of the assigned transaction to senior management.
Manage portfolio accounts on an ongoing basis including monitoring performance, covenant compliance testing, processing waivers and amendments, and preparing monthly updates to internal portfolio reports.
Interface as necessary with finance, marketing, environmental, and legal functions during deal approval process.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting plus 2 years experience in a commercial finance or banking environment, including preparing financial information, interpreting financial performance, assessing risk exposure, and recommending risk decision.
Demonstrated experience in modeling historical and projected financial statements in MS Excel and the analysis of corporate financial statements.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Strong technical skills, especially in financial analysis and monitoring.
Proven problem solving and analytical abilities.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, with emphasis on Excel utilization.
High energy, detail oriented team player, with excellent organizational and verbal and written.
You must be willing to take a drug test.
