Associate Planned Giving Director – North Carolina

Come join the largest charitable organization in the nation! The Salvation Army has an outstanding career opportunity in North Carolina for a professional individual to expand their skills and grow with one of the oldest and most successful planned giving programs in the United States.

This position will visit with prospects and donors to solicit and secure planned gifts such as wills, trusts, and annuities. This will involve extensive travel in the NE part of North Carolina, while residing in the Raleigh, NC area. This position will also work directly with attorneys, trust officers, brokers, and Salvation Army volunteers to coordinate the details involved in promoting securing gifts. A tactful and sensitive nature will be paramount in cultivating and maintaining these relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:
•Interest in working for a worthwhile Christian cause
•Experience in helping people make decisions
•Track record of achievement
•Willingness to travel extensively
•Good communication skills
