As an Associate Director, Clinical Research, Nutritionals Division you will participate in the development of clinical nutrition protocols, design of case report forms, review Phase 2-3 clinical study data, and communicate with study sites. Additionally, you will coordinate investigator meetings, monitor enrollment and inform the project director of study progress and events. After data is received from the clinical investigational sites, you will assist in the evaluation of interim and final results including the preparation of summary tables and patient narratives. Your assistance will also be required in the preparation of regulatory documents, final study reports (CSR), abstracts, manuscripts, and PowerPoint presentations, as well as interdepartmental problem solving. You may be the department representative at clinical project team (CPT), study team meetings (STM), and at Medical Affiliates.
A Bachelor's and Master's degree, preferably in a scientific field, is required while a Ph.D is preferred. With a Bachelor's degree, you must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; with a Master's Degree a minimum of 9 years experience; or with a Ph.D. a minimum of 6 years experience. Experience in clinical trials research would be important, and nutritional clinical/research experience is preferred. You must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. You must also demonstrate strong leadership and problem solving abilities. A basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing, presentation graphics, spreadsheet and database software and online data review and data management is strongly preferred. This position is associated with approximately 10% travel.
