Assistant Customer Convenience/After Sales Manager

Respond to and resolve customer issues with urgency
Balance the needs of the customer with store operational procedures and financial goals
Partner with Safety & Loss Prevention to ensure policies, proper procedures, and audits are adhered to
Adhere to inventory control procedures
Support the Service Manager to develop cross-trained, empowered Co-workers who make decisions to benefit both the customer and store
Reduce wait time in services by improving efficiencies
Execute annual action plan for Customer Service to maintain key figure goals and hourly budgets
Meet the needs of our Co-workers and customers with flexible and efficient department schedules
Attract, retain, develop, and inspire Co-workers by realizing Human Resources Idea to become the best retailer to work for
Create an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of Co-workers and customers
Maintain a clean, organized work area following waste management guidelines
Contribute as a member of the Services Management team and lead your Co-workers
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur
REQUIREMENTS
- Good leadership abilities and communication skills
Strong customer focus
Ability to share your knowledge and learning
Multi-tasking capabilities
Interest in home furnishings
Computer proficiency including MS-applications and relevant IKA systems (cash handling, staff scheduling)
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
2-3 years retail supervisory experience Additional Information Must be able to work weekends. Retail background preferred.
