Art Guide Advertising Sales

Advertising sales for The Art Guide, a monthly 4 color publication featuring exhibition listings and display ads from art galleries, artists and museums. Position entails contacting potential advertisers in Boston and the surrounding suburbs. Sales are made both in person and over the telephone. Ideal candidate will have at least an interest in art, but preferably a passion for it. Business to business sales experience is preferred, but not mandatoryThe Art Guide is well established in CT, NY and RI, with over 100 regular advertisers, 350 distribution locations and a monthly circulation of 10,000 copies. REQUIREMENTS
A car may be required to call on suburban galleries, but not for calling on galleries in Boston proper. A friendly outgoing personality and sales experience are also necessary for success in our business. A passion for art is also a plus and makes dealing with those in the arts community much easier.
