ITA Inc. is a full service audio visual services company offering equipment rental, sales, service and design/installation to customers throughout the United States.
Individual is regionally responsible, directly or indirectly through subordinates, for the successful delivery of ITA products and services within contracting Hotels to their guests (our clients) through the efficient use of ITA’s resources - people, capital, facilities and time. The ITA Area Manager is a working supervisor. This is a hands-on position requiring overnight travel. Travel may, at times, be for prolonged periods (1-3 weeks).
DUTIES include and will not be limited to:•Planning to achieve assigned goals.1.Ensuring the delivery of high quality audio visual services to our customers2.Profit through actions that produce a return on investment of resources.3.Growth of company in many, varied forms: size, intrinsic worth, stability, infrastructure, depth or quality of people, products, systems and methods.
•Fulfilling or organizing others to fulfill the plan.1.The work.2.Individual activities, goals, etc.3.Needed resources: inventory, advertising, training and professional development.
•Leading, motivating and managing others in their efforts to achieve assigned goals (and the plan).
•Employee Retention & Development:1.Seeking out and identify areas of mutual interest between the company and its employees.2.Providing direction, training and guidance to area employee’s.3.Assist Human Resources with recruitment, orientation and payroll time keeping of area employee’s.
•Demonstrate products/services and provide assistance in the best application of the product or service.
•As required, prepare and submit reports on sales and marketing trends relative to branch office location.
•Develop and implement action plans that support overall strategic plan.
•Managing Area activities to achieve goals and assure success of the plan.1.All Rental Inventory purchases, cross-rental and distribution, etc.2.All area operations assuring the successful delivery and uniformity of ITA products, services and operations.3.Billing accuracy prior to distribution as needed.
•Regularly visit, inspect and critique area operations.AUTHORITY1.To interview, recommend or hire and to terminate area personnel as directed by HR.2.To supervise, coordinate and/or requisition:a)Sublet products and services within profit guidelines.b)Area rental inventory purchases.c)Area vehicle repair & maintenance.d)Area supply purchases3.To negotiate sublet discounts and authorize special rental discounts per event when appropriate.4.To review & recommend all operational expense reports for re-imbursement within established parameters.5.To entertain clients or potential customers within established parameters.
ACCOUNTABILITYThe Area Manager reports directly to assigned management, either verbally or in writing as requested, and indirectly to workplace contemporaries and Corporate Officers.
RELATIONSHIPSArea Manager can and should:•Regularly interact with key client management and staff to confirm successful delivery of and to improve or refine ITA products or services.•Work with all area personnel to immediately address all customer service issues, to improve and refine operational or technical skills, to provide services and to develop recommendations to management.•Work with ITA management and workplace contemporaries to permanently resolve customer service issues, deliver needed operational or technical training and develop recommendations to improve business processes.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college credits with emphasis in Business Administration and/or three to five years experience working in the Audio Visual industry with an emphasis in rental sales, guest services, event management and technical (AV) staging; or equivalent combination of education and experience..
