Area Manager

Area Manager-Wholesale Responsibilities: Handles the origination of new B and C rated loan business.

Provides service support to Mortgage Brokers.

Conducts solicitation calls.

Manages the loan portfolio by ensuring that all pre-funding aspects are complete.

Conducts outside sales presentations and training seminars for the broker base.

Communicates loan status to brokers.

Provides a written report of sales call activities to the Branch Manager.

Services special pricing situations and oversees pricing exceptions on an individual broker basis.

Establishes and maintains a follow-up system for weekly broker contact.

Maintains files on all active and pending brokers.

Maintains current knowledge of the basic underwriting guidelines for B and C product lines and state mortgage broker licensing requirements in all areas covered.

Conducts on-site inspections of client premises when requested.Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of experience in a sales environment.

Demonstrated sales abilities.

Proven business development and territory management skills.

Excellent organizational, communication and time management abilities.Preferred Skills/Experience:

Wholesale mortgage lending experience.
