Annual Fund ManagerBarium Springs Home for Children was founded in 1891 by the Synod of North Carolina, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The Home began as an orphanage, serving the many children whose parents died during their childbearing years. Services later evolved to meet the needs of young people who come from an abusive, neglectful, or unstable family background. Currently, Barium Springs Home for Children is responding to the needs of North Carolina's children and families through the operation of residential care, educational services, full-day childcare, clinical services, foster care, and campus ministry. Barium Springs Home for Children is currently seeking an Annual Fund Manager. Duties for this position include:

Provide general oversight and direction to the annual fund plan for the Home including individual, corporate and foundation giving, special events, direct mail, data base administration and donor stewardship
Develop and sustain relationships with donors and other contributors, such as Presbyterian Churches that provide annual support to BSHC and cultivate continued growth in this area
Provide BSHC representation at trade shows and other church and community events as needed
Assist in producing press releases, newsletters, and other copy for communication to donors and prospects
Assist in coordination of campus tours and other volunteer activities as necessary
Provide general support to the VP for Development for the general administrative operation of the department
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree required
1 - 2 years experience in development, marketing, sales, or event experience in a non-profit setting
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is necessary
Position requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
