Using fundamental technical skills, analytical abilities and up-to-date regulatory knowledge, provide complete customer-oriented, air quality consulting services, to assist clients in the areas of permitting and regulatory compliance.

Functional Responsibilities

Modeling - Conduct air dispersion modeling analysis in accordance with project requirements and/or published guidelines.

Emissions - Calculate air emissions, determine required control technologies, and document process information to ensure client operations and work practices are in accordance with all applicable regulations. Remain current regarding the latest developments in air pollution control technologies.

Permits - Assemble permit applications, permit amendment applications, standard exemptions, source inventories, and emission fee calculations for submittal to state regulatory agencies for industrial clients.

Regulatory Knowledge - Understand existing regulations and continually review new and proposed regulations as they relate to industrial clients.

Client Relations - Steward relationships with existing clients and solicit new project work as appropriate

Assist - Assist new project engineers with projects and training.

Analyses - Communicate results of analyses to clients (in verbal & written form).

Representative - Represent Trinity favorably and professionally and establish contacts when attending outside business functions.
REQUIREMENTS
BS/MS in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Environmental, Mechanical), related Environmental Science, or Atmospheric Science.
Communication skills, including active listening; clear, concise, technical writing and the ability to accurately explain air quality concepts using non-technical terminology.
Analytical skills developed through problem-solving, either on the job, or in an academic environment.
Prior work-related experience highly desirable, including student internship work or co-ops while pursuing degree.
Familiarization with pertinent air quality regulations, and knowledge of how to find information when necessary.
Computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.
