Advertising Sales Representative

The Wall Street Journal, published by Dow Jones & Company, is currently seeking Advertising Sales Representatives to sell ad space by means of in person meetings and telemarketing.

Qualified candidates will represent Dow Jones to an existing client base and prospect new business in the Residential and Commercial Real Estate category. The position emphasizes the sale of integrated advertising programs in all Dow Jones properties including the global Wall Street Journal, all Dow Jones interactive properties, and other print vehicles. This includes developing and delivering oral and/or visual presentations, preparing sales reports and letters, analyzing the market for sales potential, and developing new strategies. Participation in job-related social functions will be required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years prior outside advertising sales experience is required, preferably for a print publication. Excellent presentation, customer service and communication skills are essential for this role. Bachelors or advanced degree preferred. Prior experience with residential and commercial real estate clients highly desirable, but we will review all applicants.
